BENEFITS: A portion of the ticket sale goes towards the Rocky Mountain Section of the Society of Women Engineers (SWE-RMS), a non-profit educational and service organization.  SWE-RMS empowers women to succeed and advance in those aspirations and be recognized for their life changing contributions and achievements as engineers and leaders.  The funds raised through fundraisers like this help support the organization as well as the many outreach programs they organize.

Class Description: Join us to build your own candle holder. Consider this for your fireplace mantle or table center piece. You can adorn your vanity, placing it below a framed mirror. (*Build your own frame at our next Frame Workshop*)

Build this to custom match your style. Consider using stave's from Ratio Beerworks. Use a thick aspen branch you collected on a hike in Salida or an old fence post from your first house. Reclaimed wood comes in style, make it your own. Look around your house and get inspired to build something that remind you a story every time you light the candles.

What will you do in class? Use a unique drill bit to carve out perfect holes for your candle's.

What is my take away? Take home the skill and do it again! I will teach you how to rent the tools and potential work spaces should you crave a little more woodworking again. (You will!)
